"Nothing To Write Home About" EP picture sleeve

In 2006, Serge Bozon decided to end his feature film La France with the demo of an obscure singer. The song was called “Gospel Lane”, the singer Robbi Curtice. He had written this title at the very end of the 1960s with the composer Tom Payne, his partner for a single 45 rpm, "When Diana Paints the Picture", released shortly before. Benjamin met Robbi in 2008 at the French Institute in London during an evening which was to combine a screening of La France and a concert by Barbara Carlotti, whom he accompanied on keyboards. Robbi and Benjamin had made contact shortly before and decided that we would play "Gospel Lane" live for the first time during this concert. Following this meeting, a correspondence began. In 2013, Robbi Curtice suggested that they write songs together. 10 years later, in 2023, a 7-track mini-album appeared, "Nothing To Write Home About", the best among the tracks they wrote together during this period.
